As a recent entrant into the UX field with a background in the pharmaceutical industry, I bring a unique blend of analytical thinking, collaboration, and a deep understanding of user needs.
Over seven years in the pharmaceutical sector, I worked cross-functionally with UX/UI designers to enhance internal platforms like the Client Reporting Management System. These interactions sparked my passion for design and inspired me to pursue an MSc in User Experience & Interaction Design at Glasgow Caledonian University.
While I may not have as many years of experience in design as some candidates, what sets me apart is my maturity, resilience, and lifelong curiosity. After years in a stable corporate role, I realised something was missing: a sense of creativity and purpose in the work I do. At this stage in my life, choosing to build a new career in UX/UI is both challenging and deeply fulfilling. I’m embracing the risk because this is more than just a career change; it’s a calling.
I approach this journey with openness to learn, and a genuine passion for crafting experiences that make users’ lives easier. For others, this may be just another job; for me, it’s an opportunity to pursue work that truly excites me and aligns with who I am.
